THE SAGA CONTINUES...

I am OBSESSED, and I mean OBSESSED with the new single, Hello Good Morning!  Off of the upcoming album, Last Train to Paris in which Diddy teams up with Dirty Money.  This new group is comprised of Diddy, Dawn Richard of Danity Kane (YES!) and singer/songwriter, Kalenna Harper.  When this song comes on in my car, I'm just about to break out the windshield cause I WANNA DANCE!  There is also a remix with Nikki Minaj and Rick Ross.  

Equally obsessive is Power the new single by Kanye West (listen to it on the link)!  In true Kanye fashion (He always has a passion for fashion) the artwork for his new single is conroversial:

"...he released the George Condo-painted artwork for the single, featuring an Excalibur-like sword stuck through Kanye's decapitated crown-wearing head, superimposed on a tableau of cumulus clouds and blue sky. Early reports about the album described it as being heavily infused with '90s boom-bap sounds, with beats from RZA, DJ Premier and Madlib. However, judging from "Power's" sound and artwork, it would seem that West is on track to make the first hip-hop Yes record. "

With raving reviews from USA Today, NY Times, and Rolling Stone the song features a sample from British  rock band, King Crimson's "21st Century Schizoid Man.

In my opinion, Kanye is one of the best rappers.  Truly ahead of his time with cutting edge trends, innovations, fashion, art and photography which clearly influence his music.  It is said Kanye's new album, Good Ass Job, is set to be released September 2010!

I'll be waiting anxiously for the September release, but till then "Go head girl go head get down" to POWER and Hello Good Morning.
