Faith Hill - Where Are You Christmas

I know its not even Thanksgiving yet, but with only 40 days left Christmas is around the corner!  I heard this Christmas song today cause the carols have already begun on many stations.  Its been one of my favorites since I saw the movie The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.  Today as I listened to the lyrics,  they struck a chord in me (literally-haha).  This year, I have grown so much personally and professionally.  The daily obstacles I face in my life, I try to seize as new opportunities.  I realize how important a smile or a simple gesture can help others, and moreover it brings joy to my every day actions.  I am so blessed for the family ad friends I have, and the people who have crossed through my journey of life and left their own mark.  Still, as i listened to the words today I realized that this year has certainly been a big step towards being an adult, and different phases of life can be uncomfortable.  I keep reminding myself how fortunate I am, and that when one door closes...there will certainly be another one to open.  The only certain thing is change and growing older....la vida, la vida.
