Someone special gave me a surprise gift! It was one of those surprises that made my day because it was so thoughtful, and because I love presents as much as I did when I was five! Design Museum FIFTY DRESSES THAT CHANGED THE WORLD. I have just begun to read about this fantasy world of amazing dresses, their creators and the women who adorned them. Amazon.com says:

Anyhow, to get back to the surprise book...one of the best parts was the note on the front cover, which of course I can't reveal its full verse, but I can say it was addressed to "to Rhode Island"s own Carrie Bradshaw." I thought that was just the cutest and most thoughtful because of my manhattan years, love of fashion, and love of writing! Thanks & xoxo someone special!
