shine sweetly

Everyone knows I love presents!!!!  I received a present from my sweet sister and soon to be roomie again, Dawnster.  This present is beyond amazing because of the thoughtfulness/sentiment which shows me how deep our friendship is.  It reminds me of the old saying "good friends come but a dime a dozen."  Lucky for me, its the other way around, and have been able to become friends with people, who inspire me, "get me," and more than anything make my life happy and complete.

Ok enough of me going maple, you are probably dying the know the present!
"The True and The Questions. A journal" by Sabrina Ward Harrison

I highly recommend the purchase of this book because of Sabrina's force de-journaling that enables one to look  uniquely at living life while chronicling the joy, the sorrow and the dreams:
"I journal to understand my life as I'm living it. I use my journals as a place to put the things that spill out over the edges of my life: photo negatives, scraps of paper, poems I have heard and loved, my sorrow, and epiphanies, the true and the questions. My journals have become guideposts for my life. Maybe it's the same way for you, and so I invite you inside me world. With this journal, you can create the book you most want to find." - Sabrina Ward Harrison

I have only had the chance to flip through the book, but one page stood out to me as if I was meant to read it first:

“Bravery” ~~ Sabrina Ward Harrison
“Life is a growing expedition through the tangled and unfilled-in parts. What happens after age nine? Because of the fear we don’t trust our own life, our story, our colors. To be afraid and leap regardless, there is such power in that. To life into the questions of our lives ~ when nothing feels clear. We have this chance to do absolutely anything, to reach out to another vulnerable and true. To dance on the roof in euphoria, to pray into the ocean and let go. We have this chance every moment to be alive and give to this world, which needs each one of us. We MUST show up for our own life. Be brave, be messy, be loud, be strong.[SHINE!]"

Thank you Dawnie!  I love you more than my luggage! xoxo
